Takeshi Mikashi, an ordinary Japanese just like others. He likes to drink coffee but there’s a problem he’s been facing. He couldn’t sleep after taking coffee and his stomach turns bad whenever he took coffee. After nights of research, he found out the acidic and caffeine inside normal coffee has push him away from taking coffee. And he thought what if the coffee is alkaline and is with less caffeine?
This is the beginning of a small town called Otake in Oganzo 25 years ago in Japan. As a chemical engineer, Takeshi continued to study the conversion of the acidic elements of coffee to alkaline by ion exchange. The acidic caffeine molecule is changed to an alkaline ionic form. In this case, the active caffeine has become a docile coffee drink. After years of improvement, he finally launched his fifth edition alkaline coffee, namely Oganzo.
